Every smile is different, and Dr. Ohanesian believes orthodontic treatment should be too. He considers not only the teeth, but also facial balance, bite, jaw development, and—in growing children—factors such as breathing patterns, oral habits, and airway development.
He has extensive experience treating concerns such as narrow palates, mouth breathing, and developing bite problems, with an emphasis on guiding growth when appropriate.
The goal isn’t simply straighter teeth. It’s a smile that fits the face, functions comfortably, and is designed to last.

Dr. Ohanesian earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he graduated with numerous academic honors.
He completed his specialty training at Loma Linda University, earning a Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Ohanesian treats children, teens, and adults using modern orthodontic techniques including growth-modification and functional appliances, braces, clear aligners, mini-implants, and laser-assisted procedures. His experience ranges from early treatment in growing children to complex adult and surgical orthodontic cases.

At SmileCraft, Dr. Ohanesian personally oversees each patient’s treatment from the initial consultation through the final result, allowing him to follow progress closely, make thoughtful adjustments along the way, and maintain continuity of care throughout the orthodontic journey.
As a father of three young children, he also understands orthodontic care from a parent’s perspective. He takes the time to listen, explain treatment clearly, and make sure patients and families feel comfortable, supported, and confident in their care.
